Reviewer

All manuscripts submitted to the International Journal of Community, Solidarity and Responsibility undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure the quality, originality, and scholarly integrity of the published articles. The journal applies a double-blind review system in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed throughout the review process.

Each submission is first evaluated by the editorial team to assess its suitability with the journal’s focus and scope, academic quality, and compliance with submission guidelines. Manuscripts that pass this initial screening are then assigned to independent reviewers with relevant expertise in the subject area.

Reviewers are tasked with evaluating the manuscript based on several criteria, including:

  • Originality and contribution to knowledge
  • Theoretical and conceptual clarity
  • Methodological rigour
  • Quality of analysis and argumentation
  • Relevance to the journal’s scope
  • Ethical and academic standards

Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the editor will make one of the following decisions:

  • Accept submission
  • Revisions required (minor or major)
  • Resubmit for review
  • Decline submission

The journal is committed to maintaining a fair, objective, and constructive review process. Reviewers are expected to provide professional, unbiased, and timely evaluations, while authors are encouraged to respond carefully and substantively to review comments.
