Author Publication Charge

The International Journal of Community, Solidarity and Responsibility is committed to ensuring transparency in publication fees. To support editorial processes, peer review management, production, and online hosting, the journal may apply an Author Publication Charge (APC) for accepted manuscripts.

The APC is only applicable after a manuscript has successfully passed the peer review process and has been formally accepted for publication. Authors are not required to pay any submission fees.

The publication charge covers services including, but not limited to:

  • Editorial processing and administration
  • Double-blind peer review management
  • Copyediting and proofreading
  • Layout and typesetting
  • Online publication and archiving
  • Digital indexing and dissemination

The exact APC amount, payment procedures, and any applicable waivers or discounts are determined by the journal’s editorial policy. Fee information is made available to authors prior to publication to ensure clarity and fairness.

In certain circumstances, the journal may grant partial or full fee waivers, particularly for authors facing financial constraints or those affiliated with institutions lacking publication funding. Waiver requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

The journal maintains that editorial decisions are made solely on academic merit and are entirely independent of authors’ ability to pay. Payment of APC does not influence the outcome of the review or publication process.
