Plagiarism Policy

The International Journal of Community, Solidarity and Responsibility upholds strict ethical standards regarding originality and academic integrity. The journal defines plagiarism as the use of another person’s ideas, words, data, or work without proper acknowledgment, as well as any form of unattributed reproduction of previously published material.

All manuscripts submitted to the journal must be original and free from plagiarism. Authors are required to ensure that their submissions are entirely their own work and that all sources are appropriately cited and referenced. This includes avoiding self-plagiarism, duplicate publication, and improper paraphrasing.

To maintain the integrity of scholarly publishing, the journal employs plagiarism detection software to screen all submissions. Manuscripts found to contain plagiarism, excessive similarity, or unethical reuse of content may be subject to immediate rejection. In cases where plagiarism is identified after publication, the journal reserves the right to take corrective actions, including retraction of the article and notification of the authors’ affiliated institutions where appropriate.

Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:

  • Direct copying of text without quotation or citation
  • Inadequate paraphrasing of existing works
  • Unacknowledged use of data, figures, or ideas
  • Duplicate submission or publication
  • Self-plagiarism or redundant publication

Authors bear full responsibility for the originality of their work. By submitting a manuscript to the International Journal of Community, Solidarity and Responsibility, authors confirm that their work complies with the journal’s plagiarism policy and ethical standards.

The journal is committed to protecting the credibility of academic research and ensuring that all published content meets accepted standards of scholarly conduct.
